Bugatti’s Chiron may have been spotted in LA, but we’re more interested in the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo Concept right now. The beast has been teased by Bugatti itself and it will be showcased at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 event next month.
It will bring a new design language, that Bugatti will use in the coming years as the base of its new supercars. The previews are pretty vague, but they do show one of the NACA air ducts, that will be included on the newcomer. The Vision Gran Turismo is said to be performance-oriented and “exaggerated”, as Bugatti’s design team members themselves claim.
The Vision Gran Turismo is a challenge started in 2013, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo game franchise. The game’s creator asked design studios from all over the world to come up with cars that represent the spirit of the game. Bugatti’s Vision Gran Turismo is a beautiful sport car, with many core elements from the Veyron successor, Chiron.
This won’t be a fantasy product, but rather a real car, that will be shown around and also driven on a race track.
