Energya Concept Vehicle Makes Three Wheels Trendy

Hybrids with three wheels, of course. The 4 wheel aficionados might consider this a sacrilege, but it’s the way of the future after all. Higgins-Aube shows us a bit of that not so remote future, through the ENERGYA concept vehicle:

This is a side-by-side two seater which some might consider a bike, but it’s certainly more than that, as it includes the components of automobiles that usually come with 4 wheels.

There’s even a name for such a concept, the “motomobile”, as stated by Higgins-Aube. Behind the neat looks hides a 200 HP motorcycle engine, that powers a single rear wheel.

Alfa Romeo Bertone BAT 11 Concept Lands in America

The Bertone BAT 11 was first noticed at the Geneva Auto Show in March and you might want to know that it uses the Alfa Romeo 8 Competizione platform. Some folks have already named it the future Batmobile, while others just see it as an ugly concept car. Maybe it’s because of it lack of curves and angular design, but at least the rims are sexy.

Three wheel Magnetic Car Concept is the Way of the Future

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Ladies and gentlemen we have a winner! A winner of the unseen technology award at the Interior motives design 2007 that is, the MAG, a magnetic vehicle concept designed by Matus Prochaczka.

The vehicle is based on magnetic power and uses an electric engine with the same polarity as the one on the road. That can only mean that in some alternate future we’ll have polarized roads with magnets on the side, in order to put in motion such hot rides. The MAG is a 2 seater with a hot design, that reminds me of a high-heel shoe, but it’s not quite feasible because of the lack of compatible technology and roads.

Should we also mention that this car is “green” and very comfortable thanks to its adaptable seating?

Sondergard Kit Car Arrives in 2009

In case you didn’t even know that those even existed, they do and they’re called “kit cars”. One such lovely vehicle is the Sondergard, designed by Jesper Hermann.

This is a Danish car that’s based on the Pontiac Solstice or the Opel GT for Europeans and it can be considered both a retro style ride and a futuristic vehicle. This baby goes from 0 to 100 (kmph) in just 4 seconds and it will enter production in 2009. Excited? Learn how to build it and get your tools!

Concept Diamond Car, Made in China

It’s an unnamed ride for now, but it uses a neat system that shifts the car’s main body to the travelling direction.

The Diamond Car behaves like a motorcycle, specially in corners, where it balances the centrifugal force by leaning its main structure to the side. Quite a car for tech-obsessed geeks, not that it’s a bad thing…

Yamaha Deus Ex Machina Wearable Motorcycle Concept is Better Than a Car

Yamaha Deus Ex Machina is an electric wearable motorcycle, as unbelievable as it may seem. It can park vertically and it can only hold one passenger.

The contraption is controlled with the aid of 36 muscles plus 2 linear actuators and it can go from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds. However, it has a 75 miles per hour top speed, pretty decent for such a crazy concept.

Scuderia Bizzarrini P538 Gets Resurrected and Soon Official

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.If you’re familiar to the Le Mans racing history, you must have heard about the Bizzarrini P538, a supercar that wasn’t among the most prolific racers, but surely a looker and powerful vehicle. It was back in the 1960’s when the P538 first surfaced and now it’s being revamped for the sake of the supercar lovers.

What you see above is a computer rendering of the automobile, but you have to know that it uses borrowed chassis from the Galmer Arbitrage GT and a mid-mounted Chevrolet LS7 V8 engine.

Its design is something of a hybrid between a Koenigsegg and a Lotus, but with an original approach. We’ll be seeing an official unveiling of the car in Italy this month, but we don’t know if it’ll make it to the production stage.

Lamborghini Reventon Unboxing Experience in Las Vegas

The first model has just been sold via the Lamborghini of Las Vegas dealership, while the rest of 19 are already pre-ordered.

Officially, only 20 Reventon units will be built, but keep praying, who knows? The new Lamborghini goes from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds, just like the Murcielago LP640. The beauty you can see in the pics attached to the article also includes most of the mechanical elements (plus engine) taken from LP640.

It’s got a 6.5 litre V12 engine with a total output of 650 HP and this 2 door sports car is a mid-engine four-wheel drive monster with a 6-speed e-gear.

Spada Codatronca Supercar Slated for Production

It will be priced at about $400.000 and it will be packing a supercharged LS7 V8 generating 600 hp.

Of course, there’s also a 700 hp upgrade for this beauty, ready to go from 0 to 60 in just 2.7 seconds. Too bad that what can show you for now are just conceptual designs and not the actual production model…
